In an exciting round of Golf, the Southern Region Qualifier of the first edition of Toyota IGU NHS National Club Challenge witnessed Emaar MGF's Team Boulder Hills finishing as the Runner up in the South Zone Final held at Eagleton Golf Resort. The two teams who will represent the South Zone in National Final of Toyota IGU NHS National Club Challenge will be Boulder Hills and Bangalore Golf Club and will be playing in Gurgaon on 12th April 2014.

New Delhi, Delhi, January 22, 2014 /India PRwire/ -- In an exciting round of Golf, the Southern Region Qualifier of the first edition of Toyota IGU NHS National Club Challenge witnessed Emaar MGF's Team Boulder Hills finishing as the Runner up in the South Zone Final held at Eagleton Golf Resort. The two teams who will represent the South Zone in National Final of Toyota IGU NHS National Club Challenge will be Boulder Hills and Bangalore Golf Club and will be playing in Gurgaon on 12th April 2014.

The two teams to represent the South Zone were selected on the basis of the best of five individual net scores per club calculated under the Stableford format.

Speaking on the Finals to be held in Gurgaon, Mr. Nalinikanth Pingili, General Manager, Boulder Hill Golf & Country Club, said 

"Team Boulder Hills has made us proud to have qualified for the Toyota IGU NHS National Final. In our match against Bangalore Golf Club the team showcased a good round of Golf and we managed to score 168 Nett Points. Though we ended up as the Runners Up in the South Zone Final, we are now focusing on the Finals which will be held in Gurgaon in April this year. Every player in the team played and contributed well and we are hoping that we continue the good show in the Finals too".

The two teams to represent the South Zone in National Final are:

Runner up Team: BoulderHills Golf & Country Club, 168 Nett Points

Winning Team : Bangalore Golf Club, 175 Nett Points
